Definitely not the worst year ever. There were a lot of good things. I’ve listed a few of those already in previous posts. But I’m ready to put 2020 in my rearview and focus on 2021
I ended 2020 with a hair chop.
That I did myself.
At work 😛
This was how I spent the end of 2020. With a kitten and a puppy taking “cat naps” on me all night long. Kira even spent her first night not crated, slept through the night, and had no accidents! ❤
This little guy kept giving me eyeballs and I was all for it! :-*
Woke up this morning with all these plans to start 2021 off right.
I ended up drinking my coffee, and the passing out with a nap attack. Eh, it must have been “time” to take a nap.
This might be part of the reason I was nap attacked. We’ve got SNOW! This is our first big snowfall in a long time, and I’m so thankful we got to enjoy it with our pupper!
Now I’m sitting here with bleach on my head, so I can decide if I’m going blonde or purple, and I’m watching “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” while waiting for the timer to end.
So, my goal for 2020 was 250 books. I technically read more, as some of them were compilations, but I didn’t want to break them down. I just let Amazon and Goodreads do that work. As of the writing of this blog post, I’m one book away. Today, though I’ll either finish my ebook or my audiobook, so we’ll see if I reach my goal.
This year, I’m also planning on doing some reading challenges. So, since I want to track everything, I also bought a reading challenge journal.
To make it more of a challenge for me, I’m not going to allow myself to double count books. The good news is that I’m putting a crapton of series starters on my TBR list, so the first one can work for the Backlist challenge, and the rest can be used for the Finishing the Series!
