Trying to Eat Healthier

I’m trying to make healthier, smarter choices. Just small ones here and there (as I sit here, nomming on some Pumpkin Pie KitKats ). Each morning, especially before work, I make sure I have myself a shake. I switched to non-lactose containing milks (Fairlife ultra-processed or almondmilk), and I’ve noticed a HUGE change in how my body is digesting! Yay for that win against IBS!

I’m definitely upping my water intake. For me, that’s huge. After I finish my shake, I run my cup through the dishmachine (perk of being the dishwasher), and I use our filtered water ice, and THEN the hot water from the coffee makers, so it’s the cleanest water you can get. I’ve found that I’m drinking SO MUCH MORE that way!

You see the Mr. Pibb. I’m not hiding it. There’s also a small loaf of banana bread. I can’t resist it, sometimes. But that wrap? Grilled Chicken Caesar with tomatoes, romaine lettuce, avocados, and cucumber. I’m burping the taste of cucumbers for the rest of the day, but it is so worth it!
